Oh Yes! We did it. Instead of 50 people (like last Sunday) only 12 people showed up today. Wonderful – our favorite size.
Although rain never completely stopped, players did not have much time to notice it. Game started 5 on 5 at 09:48.
WHITEs had Kevin, and Arnaud and Pilip (not a spelling error!). Later they got Juan (10:13). So it was a good well-balanced team. But it was not enough to stop Igor Gr. to score from all positions and from various distances.
One hour into the game the score was 2:10 for DARKs.
At 10:48 teams switched sides and moved goals 30 feet sideways to preserve the evergreen grass. Game stabilized, and WHITEs begin to claw their way back.
WHITEs were within 5 easy points to tie (8:13) at 11:15, but last 6 minutes of the game turned very bad for them. It was all over at 11:21. You might notice that second half ended with an equilibrium – 6:6.
