12:11- Another giant supermarket (E.Leclerc Sarlat – €2.50 cash – 5 croissants).  We entered from Avenue de la Canéda.  We love this giant supermarket chain, because they often have free garage parking, and free restrooms – very important for any solo traveler.

13:20 First picture of the day. We stopped at  L’Hospitalet – a lively crossroads point with a major view on Rocamadour

This  place deserves a special mention.  It is very convenient lunch spot.  It is right on the road.  It has a plentiful road side parking.  It has all the vitality of an expensive resort with expensive prices.  It has several restaurants facing the cliff view of Rocamadour.
14:54 Hotel restaurant Le Belvedere (L Hospitalet) – Lunch at a hamlet of Rocamadour with a view of Rocamadour –(€34 MC)

Third leg of our trip this day – from Figeac to Bouziès was the most interesting TEXT 02 TEXT 03

19:17 Check-in to the Hotel Les Falaises, Le Bourg, Bouziès
This is a spectacular place.  Located on the rived bank of Le Lot.  It has everything for a relaxing stop-over.  Even outdoor pool.  Even parking for such a tight space area.  Room have a new windows with a good view to other side of the river.  Road leading to the holel is along a cliff, and that cliff is full of secret passages and galleries.  Very interesting.  But the main reason to stay here was the proximity to Le Chemin de Halage (the canal towpath) – a hauling path carved in the cliff of the river bank.

22:13 Time well spent at vegan place at Le Jardin de Cabrerets, Restaurant and Salon de thé, Cabrerets – very, very good food and very special experience – €47 MC.  It is hard to be vegan in France.
