This Winter we played every single weekend. Snow and cold didn’t stop the Newton Pickup Football Squad.
And exactly 22 players showed up for our first Warren game.
Game under a gorgeous sun lasted only from 09:45 to 11:19. A very short game. And a very low scoring game. And the first goal was scored only 51 minutes into the game. Yura D. thinks that this could be a record.
Cüneyt showed us a few tricks. He scored 3 goals out of 5 for his team. Including the hardest of all – the first one.
Georgi also shined today. He scored 2 goals and one colossal assist at the very end of the game.
Today we saw an ugly face of a high turn over. Like in a bad factory, some arrived very late in the morning, and some begin to “prepare” for an early lunch. That dampens the competitive spirit a little.
After 21 games Dr. Yurik is leading with 16 points and 23 goals.
