So many questions for this Saturday game. So many unanswered questions.
Why teams divided the way the did – Sasha, Vova, Cüneyt and Boris Sh. on on side of the isle?
Why Sasha called the fault every time, but Vova didn’t call an obvious fault against him, when goalkeeper was trying to stop him with his hand?
Andrey S. and later Roma decided to leave right in the middle of the battlefield? Why indeed.
We will never get answers to these questions, but let’s just look at the statistics instead.
For WHITEs it was easy to score and easy to defend, because everyone felt the need and responsibility to pull a fair share or the load. For DARKs it was easy to stage an attack, but everything else played against them. No defense, no transitions, virtually no rotation, and no one to organize the team efforts.
DARKs started with a 0:2 lead (Sasha L.), but WHITEs quickly and to their own surprise pulled ahead 3:2 and 5:3 and even 7:4.
Sasha continued to score from every position and DARKs tied and even got ahead – 7:8.
But WHITEs continued to pass and score. They did it slowly and methodically. As robots would do it. And dispassionatly. Calmly. Pass. Pass. Goal. Very clear, well-defined goals.
And do you rememebr the last time Zhenia A. scored 3 goals in the span of 33 minutes? In fact it was his goals of the season, and he had more interesting opposites to score.
